I Want It! I Want It!

Jackson was out walking in the forest while thinking about how fun real magic would be. Suddenly a rainbow lightning bolt hit Jackson and he shrieked in pain. When it was over, Jackson was still alive, and a book had appeared in front of him. The cover of the book said Real Magic. As the pain subsided, Jackson crawled to the book. Jackson started to open the book but a humanoid ratman jumped out of the bushes.

Jackson cowered from the ratman when vines came out of nowhere and wrapped around the ratman. The ratman struggled to get free from the vines. The vines continued to tangle around the ratman until he was no longer visible. When the vines withdrew, there was no sign of the ratman. Jackson grabbed the book and ran back home.

Jackson decided that magic wasn't going to be as much fun as he thought.

When Jackson got home, he started to look through the book. he found many different spells: teleportation, summoning, poison, fireball, and other languages such as ratman and orc. Then his mom called him to dinner, so Jackson hid the book under his bed under a loose floorboard. Then Jackson ran down to dinner. Jackson's mom and dad were already at the table. Jackson's mom had made bacon and eggs for dinner, Jackson's favorite! During dinner, Jackson's dad asked jackson what he did that day. Jackson told his dad that he had taken a walk in the forest but did not tell him about the book.

When Dinner was over, Jackson ran to his room and tried to read the book. The was flipping the pages when he found a notes. The Note said: “Dear Reader, You have been chosen at random to poses real magic, but beware, ancient powers want to get it.”

Jackson stopped to think about what he just read. He go the errie feeling again that real magic was not going to be much fun. As Jackson was deep in thought, he noticed a face in the window. The face had a pig nose, was bald, had green skin and a nose ring. Jackson recognized the creature from the book. It was an orc! A very dangerous and vicious creature.

The orc said something which Jackson could not understand: “Og Gog Zo.” Jackson guessed that the orc wanted the book. The orc disappeared from the window. Jackson rushed to the window but could see no trace of him. Jackson turned to the book to look up what the orc had said. Sure enough, the orc had said “Give me book.”
